What These Teams Do
Our music mission teams give concerts to share the love of Christ with young people in the host culture and connect them with our ministry partners and the local church. We go at the invitation of our hosts and support the efforts of our partner ministry through our focus on servanthood – modeling the example of Jesus, who did not come to be served, but to serve. Summer mission trip participants grow in Christian character and servant posture, deepen their understand of the Great Commission, and learn to actively share their faith.
Our summer mission trip participants commit to spending approximately six weeks with us: two weeks of training in Willmar, MN and four weeks of international music ministry.
CTI summer team members are required to raise $4,885 and get themselves to and from Willmar, MN. We’ll use that money to pay for things like your international travel, housing, food, music equipment, vehicles and fuel, visas, and the administrative costs involved in mobilizing a short-term mission team. We cover all your meals, housing and transportation in the US and overseas from the time you arrive for training until the time you depart for home. See our FAQ section for more information about where this money goes.
Are you ready to re-visit the essentials of the Gospel, learn anew what it really means to be a servant, and develop an openness and a sensitivity to foreign cultures?
